1. Eligibility

The Spooktober Design Competition is open to legal residents of the United States, aged 18 and above. Participants must verify their email address through the submission form on the BoardStatement website to be eligible. No purchase necessary to enter or win.

2. Design Requirements

• Designs must be created using the BoardStatement AI Designer tool available at www.boardstatement.com/generate.
• Designs must incorporate a Halloween or "spooky" theme to qualify.
• All designs must be original and must not infringe on any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

3. Submission Process

To enter the competition, participants must:

• Create one or more designs using the BoardStatement AI Designer.
• Post one entrant design on Instagram with the hashtag #BoardStatementSpooktober and tag @boardstatement in the post.
• Complete the submission form on the BoardStatement website, including verifying their email address, and provide their Instagram post link for verification.
• Check back for results on the BoardStatement Instagram account and website on November 5th.

4. Judging Criteria

Entries will be judged by the BoardStatement team based on the following criteria:

• Creativity and originality of the design
• Adherence to the Halloween or spooky theme
• Overall aesthetic appeal and visual quality

5. Prizes

Prizes are as described on the competition page. The 1st place winner will receive a free snowboard wrap. Additional prizes include discount coupons and sticker packs for runners-up. No cash alternatives will be offered, and prizes are non-transferable.

6. Intellectual Property

By entering the competition, participants grant BoardStatement the right to use, reproduce, and publicly display their submitted designs and associated content (including Instagram posts) for promotional purposes across BoardStatement’s digital and social media channels.

7. Privacy and Data Collection

BoardStatement collects email addresses through the submission form solely for the purpose of verifying entries and notifying winners. Email addresses will not be shared with third parties or used for marketing purposes without consent. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

8. Disqualification

BoardStatement reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these rules, contains inappropriate content, or is found to have manipulated engagement metrics. The judges’ decision is final and binding.

9. General Terms

By participating, you agree to comply with these rules and Instagram’s platform policies. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. By entering, you release Instagram from any responsibility.
